As America prepares to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War in 2011 WindingRiver.com will review the Kansas -Missouri Border War activities by providing local museums, historical organizations and area students* the opportunity to submit articles to shed light on the issues that led to this great war.

Your articles are invited

Museums and historical organizations are invited to submit articles to be included in this review of the issues and Border War events leading up to the Civil War.  Students are also invited to submit articles, however, we ask that *student articles be submitted through their teacher or professor.

Beginning in April, 2011 we will begin publishing articles related to Civil War activities throughout the 25 Kansas and Missouri counties covered at www.WindingRiver.com.
