Made in Johnson County

Locally made products and inventions are the subject of the Johnson County Museum's latest exhibit, Made in Johnson County.  Exhibit presents the major enterprises in Johnson County from the 1850s to the modern day and the major technological changes which sparked greater diversification in our local business community.  Regular museum hours; admission is free.

What Does it Mean to be an American Girl?

Air Force Band Patriotic Concert at Liberty Memorial

The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America Concert Band will perform a free outdoor concert on the southeast lawn at the National World War 1 Museum at Liberty Memorial. The concert and parking is free.  The National World War 1 Museum will be open regular hours and will close at 5:00 pm  prior to the concert.

Downtown Liberty tour led by Kevin Fisher, director of the Clay County Archives.  Meet at the fountain next to City Hall, 101 E. St. Joseph Museums, Inc. sponsors trip to St. Louis

A two day motor coach trip to the St. Louis Art Museum to view the exhibition: Symbols of Power:  Napoleon and the Art of the Empire Style, 1800 - 1815. The trip will also include a tour of the Cahokia Mounds Historic Site and Visitors Center in Collinsville, Illinois, and a stop in historic St. Charles, Missouri.  $160 for members and $170 for non-members.  Early reservations required.
